Welcome to the Delran Fire Department

Church Street Fire in Delran

On Monday April 13th at 12:56am fire fighters from Delran, Riverside, Moorestown, and Beverly were dispatched to a dwelling fire on Church Street. Within minutes police arrived reporting heavy fire within the residence. At that time companies were placed into service. Fire was placed under control at 1:51am.

Riverton Ladder 2415 and Delanco Engine 1114 covered station 231. Palmyra Ladder 8015 and Cinnaminson Engine 2021 covered station 232.

The Move Over Law

The State of New Jersey has introduced a new law regarding how to approach emergency vehicles.

"Drivers approaching stationary emergency vehicles, tow trucks and other highway safety vehicles displaying red, blue and/or amber flashing lights must now move over one lane or, if not safe to move over, then slow down below the posted speed limit." - NJ State Website

Riverside House Fire On February 2nd, 2009, stations were dispatched to a house fire in Riverside Township. Crews from Squrt 2324 and Engine 2311 entered the house to find fire in the kitchen. Delran House Fire On February 1, 2009, at approximately 4:45 a.m., firefighters from Delran Township were dispatched to a reported house fire on Chester Avenue. Ice Rescue Training Starting on January 30th, and continuing though February 1st, the Delran Fire Department spent three days training for Ice Rescue emergencies. The training seminar was broken down into three sections and included firefighters, EMTs, and police officers.
